The Beach is Closed

posted Sep 6, 2011, 7:36 PM by Brian Donahoe

as of Labor Day. The CLA member summer swim season is  defined as Memorial  thru Labor Day weekends, when a lifeguard is on duty 10:30-6 PM. Swimming without a lifeguard present is always "at your own risk", and children under 10 years of age are allowed to swim only when accompanied  by a parent or guardian at least 17 years of age.

The swim area  ropes and raft have been removed from the beach area, for safety reasons, but  all  rules and regulations concerning  use of  the beach and picnic areas remain in effect.

The picnic tables, grills, trash cans, water fountain/shower and restroom and electrical outlets will continue to be available to members wishing to enjoy the fall season at the beach.  Use of the fishing pier, playground and beach area are always available for members and their guests, from sunrise to 10PM.  Dogs are not allowed in the beach and picnic area.

Parties of 11-35 people may reserve facilities, and parking passes will be issued for guests, and extra garbage bags for removal of all trash to the dumpster, will be provided. No fee is charged for party reservations between Labor Day and Memorial Day.

The beach area is private and for members only.
