Countryside Lake Conservation Area Volunteer Day

posted Nov 9, 2011, 6:10 AM by Brian Donahoe   [ updated Nov 9, 2011, 8:50 AM ]

Saturday, November 19th, 10-2

Please join us for our last volunteer day of the year. It will be a fun way to help your community while spending time with your neighbors. We're starting later to let the day warm up and are planning on having hot dogs and beverages. This volunteer day we will be spreading wood chips along paths and cleaning up debris such as fallen branches. There is also seed from native species ready to be collected and spread.

Join us at the Conservation Area (next to the beach) to help with this effort! Bring your own heavy duty gloves and pruners or scissors to collect seeds. Please help us spread the word as we do not have e-mails for all CLA members. This would also be a great opportunity for any young people needing service hours!!

See the "Volunteers Wanted" section under Members Only for specific contact information and other details.
