CLA-CA Volunteer Day

posted May 4, 2015, 7:11 AM by Brian Donahoe   [ updated May 26, 2015, 1:21 PM ]
On Saturday, May 16th from 9:00-12:00.
Join us at the Conservation Area (next to the beach) to help with this effort.

Please join us for our first volunteer day of the year. It will be a fun way to help your community and get some exercise while spending time with your neighbors. We will primarily be spreading woodchips on the paths and pulling garlic mustard and other invasive species. There will be wheelbarrows and shovels provided but if you have some to bring I’m sure we will be able to use them!

Join us at the Conservation Area (next to the beach) to help with this effort!  Bring your own heavy duty gloves and a trowel or small shovel to plant plugs.  Please help us spread the word as we do not have e-mails for all CLA members. This would also be a great opportunity for any young people needing service hours!

See the email floating around for more details if needed.
