Bitter Cold Advisory

* Wind chills... 25 below to 30 below zero across north central and
northeast Illinois north and west of downtown Chicago and
Interstate 55... 20 below to 25 below zero across the rest of
northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

... Wind Chill Advisory remains in effect until noon CST /1 PM
EST/ Thursday... 

A Wind Chill Advisory remains in effect until noon CST /1 PM EST/
Thursday. 

* Timing... until noon CST Thursday.

* Impacts... frostbite could quickly develop on exposed skin. 
Hypothermia could quickly set in. 

Precautionary/preparedness actions... 

A Wind Chill Advisory means that very cold air and strong winds
will combine to generate low wind chills. This will result in
frost bite and lead to hypothermia if precautions are not taken.
If you must venture outdoors... make sure you wear a hat and
gloves.
